This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the MyCo website (mycodigi.com) or the MyCo mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
By using MyCo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly
- Account details: full name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Profile information: job title, company name, profile photo, cover photo, and company logo.
- Business card content: any information you add to your digital business card, including social media links, website URLs, and optional physical address.
- Communications: messages you send to our support team.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers, IP address, and mobile network information.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent in the app, interactions with cards you share, and referral sources.
- Approximate location: derived from IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature.
- Log data: crash logs, error reports, and diagnostic information.
c. Information from Third-Party Services
- If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from the provider, subject to what you authorize.
- Subscription status and anonymized transaction identifiers from Apple App Store or Google Play (via RevenueCat).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, display, and share your digital business card.
- Facilitate connections between users through QR codes, NFC, and shareable links.
- Process subscription purchases and manage billing.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Improve, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- Send transactional emails, such as account verification and password resets.
- Send marketing communications, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (for users in Canada, EU/UK, and similar jurisdictions)
We process your personal information based on:
- Performance of a contract, to provide the Service you signed up for.
- Your consent, for optional features like marketing emails or location-based features.
- Legitimate business interests, to improve the Service, prevent fraud, and secure the platform.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
a. Service Providers
We use trusted third-party providers to help operate MyCo. These include:
- Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple, push notifications).
- Google (Play Store, Google Sign-In, Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications).
- RevenueCat (subscription management).
- Cloud hosting providers used to host our backend infrastructure.
- Email delivery services used for transactional emails.
Each provider is contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to MyCo.
b. When You Share Your Card
When you share your digital business card via QR code, NFC, or link, the recipient will see the information you have chosen to include on that card. Publicly viewable profile pages are accessible to anyone with the link.
c. Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MyCo, our users, or others.
d. Business Transfers
If MyCo is acquired, merged, or sells assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance of any such change.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal information:
- Access - request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction - request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion - request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal or legitimate business exceptions.

Payment and transaction records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their own retention schedules.
8. Children's Privacy
MyCo is not intended for and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@mycodigi.com and we will delete the information.
9. International Data Transfers
MyCo operates from Canada. If you use MyCo from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website (mycodigi.com) uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The MyCo mobile app does not use browser cookies, but it does use device identifiers and analytics SDKs (such as Firebase) as described above.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of MyCo after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
